Pupil of Kiev "Dynamo". Since 2012, he played in DUFLU, in which he played 85 matches in four years, scored 5 goals.He made his debut for Dynamo U-19 even before graduation from the academy, on May 29, 2016, in the match of the 30th round of the youth championship against Illichivets (3:0). This match was the last in that draw and had no tournament value, since Dynamo had already guaranteed themselves the championship by that moment.However, in the following 2016/17 season, he became a regular under-19 player, making 21 appearances (1 goal) and helping the team defend the title.On August 20, 2017, he made his debut for the first team in the championship match against Stal Kamensk, entering the left flank of the defense in the 7th minute instead of the injured Josip Pivarich.On October 25, 2018, he made his debut in the Europa League, entering the Dynamo starting lineup in an away match against the French Rennes at Roazon Park, which ended in a 1-2 victory for the Kiev team. In the 2018/19 season, he was recognized as the best young player of the Ukrainian championship.
On October 20, 2019, he scored his first goal in the Premier League in a home meeting with Oleksandriya, which became the only one in the match and brought the club a 1-0 victory. In the 2019/20 season, he played 36 matches for Dynamo in all competitions, scoring four goals, and also won the 2019/20 Ukrainian Cup.
At the beginning of the 2020/21 season, the Kyiv club faced a lot of injuries, so Mykolenko moved to play at the central defender position, in which he played at youth level.
