The United States Air Force - Massachusetts Institute of Technology Artificial Intelligence Accelerator (USAF-MIT AI) is an accelerator focused on developing artificial intelligence for the U.S. military.

USAF-MIT AI researches rapid prototyping, scaling, and ethical application of AI to advance the United States Air Force. In January of 2020, ten interdisciplinary projects were launched with researchers from MIT Campus, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, and the Department of the Air Force. Each project is expected to span a period of three years and utilizes fifteen research workstreams to advance AI in a variety of applications, including weather modeling and visualization, optimization of training schedules, and autonomy for augmenting and amplifying human decision-making.
