Born October 28, 1985 in Los Angeles (California, USA) to Donald Paul Bellisario, producer and director, and Deborah Pratt, actress and producer. Her father is of Italian and Serbian descent and her mother is of African-American, French and English descent.
She graduated from the University of Southern California (Bachelor of Fine Arts) in 2009. She first appeared on the screen at the age of three as Nuzo's daughter in the crime drama The Last Ritual (1988, directed by Donald Bellisario).
She rose to fame after playing the role of Spencer Hastings in the detective series Pretty Little Liars (2010-2017), on one episode of which Bellisario served as director.
