Education and background
Trip Adler is the child of Stanford neurosurgeon John R. Adler Jr.. He grew up in Palo Alto, California and attended Gunn High School. Anne Wojcicki, who would later co-found genetic testing startup 23andMe, was Adler's babysitter, when he was a child.
Adler attended Harvard University, where he initially embarked on a pre-medical school track of study. Adler later switched his major to biophysics. He graduated in 2006.
