Biography
Over the years, the project The Chemodan Clan has been repeatedly changed, but its backbone has remained the same. The members were able to be remembered and loved by the listeners due to the confident delivery of the tracks and love for bold experiments.
Creation history and the lineup
The team was formed in 2002 in Petrozavodsk and was named The Chemodan. It was chosen spontaneously and means a kind of mystery, the unknown, which lurks inside.
At the origins of the group were Dirty Louie and Mike Kruger, who began to create joint music in the genre of rap. The inspiration for the creation of the project was the dissatisfaction with the creativity of the Russian representatives of this genre.
The first tracks were released outside the studio and without special equipment. The guys created in apartments, including Louie's place. He wrote most of the lyrics, inspired by facts from his own biography, and even sometimes recorded the songs alone, trying to make his voice sound different from verse to verse.
Since some of the phrases from the tracks were bold and at times even impertinent, Dirty Louie decided that they should hide their faces. That's how the stage image of the performer appeared, appearing in front of the audience wearing a gas mask or a mask.
It took a long time for the guys to become popular. They released a few mixtapes, followed by the album "Not Today", which attracted the attention of fans of the genre. Critics praised the tracks "Dreaming is Harmful" and "Everybody Dreams".
The release of the second release "The Ministry of Health warned" was remembered by the departure of Mike Krueger from the group. Only Dirty Louie remained in the project, and he continued to perform as a solo artist. He then teamed up with Brick Bazuka, with whom he formed The Chemodan Clan.
Music
The changes in the lineup had almost no effect on the popularity of the project, because Dirty Louie continued to record new tracks and give concerts, in which, besides Brick Bazuka, other musicians helped him. At this time the album "While Somebody Died" was created, which fans refer to the heyday of The Chemodan's creativity.
Then the first music video for the song "Smell of Urbana" appeared. As the singer later admitted, then he was less afraid of taking risks in music and was bravely throwing around loud statements. There is a line in the track that the singer got off "lightly and easily". Shortly after the release of the song, Dirty Louie was diagnosed with lung problems, but the final diagnosis was less frightening than the preliminary one.
GNOY's next release came out harsh in sound. The rapper expressed everything that he had got into. The album "Except Women and Children" became the same controversial, where the listeners noticed the bright changes in the artist's delivery.
In 2014, The Chemodan Clan presented the album "The Wire," which included the songs "Autumn," "Power," "Non-Melodic Rap" and "Echo," recorded together with Pika. It marked the beginning of a closer collaboration with Brick Bazuka and was released with the support of CAO Production & Gourmet Music, which was a turning point in the history of the band and helped attract new fans. After the premiere, the artists received more and more invitations to perform at concerts.
The piggy bank of memorable tracks also continued to be replenished. Out came "Dirty Flo", "Zombie", "What's the Bottom Line" and "Coma", which won the special love of the audience. In addition, the author presented a joint work with Rem Digga.
No less memorable was the release "Absurd and Allegory", which was added to the discography a year later. It pays attention to reflections on the theme of military operations. During the recording, the musicians worked with Zhora Porokh, with whom they created the track "Stone Forest".
Shortly after that, Dirty Louie announced that he was going to close The Chemodan Clan project, because he wanted to try his hand at another style. As the final chord was released The End, which was appreciated by the fans of the collective.
After a while the musicians presented a new joint brainchild "XIII". Its appearance was marked by the release of the single "City-13", after which the album of the same name was released.

In 2020, the members presented two new tracks at once, recorded as "XIII" group. "Black Friday" was released in April, and "Money" was released in May. But the songs were not appreciated by everyone, some fans noted that in the days of The Chemodan Clan was better.
