What is TEMPLE?

A safe haven when you want to shelter from risk. Take your TEMPLE tokens and place them in the Temple to reduce volatility, and earn yield.

TEMPLE is the first coin in the Temple roadmap of unique tokens to reduce volatility and boost yield.

How is it different?

The market has many protocols, but mostly one of two types:

Protocol growth coins: highest volatility, highest risk, high potential rewards (or nothing).

Stablecoins: very low volatility, but you lose value every day as the dollar debases and purchasing power erodes.

There is a huge gap between “super high risk crypto coins” and “negative real return stablecoins”. We need a menu of options in between.

How does TEMPLE protect you?

TEMPLE aims to maintain lower volatility than bluechip crypto tokens, while delivering yield to staking temple dwellers.

Volatility is most painful on the downside. We reduce the effect of market wide downturns in two ways:

Staking: Those looking for a safe TEMPLE can buy tokens and stake in the Temple. During a downturn yield will be boosted, incentivising staking to reduce circulating supply and put positive pressure on price.

Buying: The Temple will directly buy from weak hands at a premium to AMM prices in downturns, utilising treasury to reduce volatility and support the token. Treasury reserves are replenished as prices rise — ready to protect against the next downturn.

The outcome is a reduced volatility yield coin.
