Transparent Sky LLC (TSky) and UltraHiNet LLC propose algorithms systems for precision computation in real-time of 3D (RT3D) models using low size, weight, and power (SWaP) architectures. Results exploit the successful Phase I algorithm, Shell3D, that over 100 times faster than leading algorithms. Further work will: • Build and test a prototype system for UAV use. • Develop field-testable software and enhancements on Phase I results. This includes improving quality to rival high-end commercial products while maintaining the speed advantages of Shell3D.• Enhancing the final model, changing from point clouds to geometric structures. • Demonstrate and validate in USN/USMC environments, participating in Navy exercises such as ANTX.• Investigate enhancements, such as real-time 3D models generated frame-by-frame. • Produce focused report on proposed methodology and algorithms, expected performance metrics, external data required, and development/execution constraints perceived. • Plan and execute commercialization efforts for Phase II, beyond those already begun by Transparent Sky. Transparent Sky intends for the results of Phase II, and potential Phase II option to be used on a Program of Record (PoR) such as the Puma/Mantis UAS. Further uses include guiding military helicopters through blind landings (dust out), change detection, combat bridge inspection, and line-of-sight analyses.
