Tasks and objectives
A special operations force is a highly mobile, specially trained, technically equipped, and well-equipped army group of forces of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, designed to perform special tasks in order to protect Russian interests (if necessary, using military force) both inside the country and abroad, both in peacetime and wartime, being in constant and high readiness for immediate deployment.
