ROG (Rugged Oxygen Generator)

The ROG (Rugged Oxygen Generator) is a portable oxygen generator manufactured by Molecular Products Group. They generator delivers 90 liters of breathable oxygen for 15 minutes, is small enough to carry in a backpack and intended for emergency oxygen situations in the defense and medical industries. Oxygen from the ROG is produced by the thermal decomposition of sodium chlorate. The source of energy for the decomposition is the oxidation of iron powder. The ROG weighs 5 pounds, suggests no maintenance during storage, does not contain pressurized gas and is therefore portable and safe to store in hazardous environments, is manufactured to be resistant to shock and vibration, and suitable for use at altitudes of up to 20,000 feet.
