Abstract

Current efforts to provide advanced maintenance capabilities can be burdened by legacy documentation and a lack of visibility into the fine-grained status of jobs in progress on the flight line. The Cognitive Observant Assistant for Coaching and Helping (COACH) addresses both of these problems concurrently with an intelligent virtual assistant that goes significantly beyond the state of the art by providing (a) enterprise-wide content transformation to liberate technical data from legacy formats and (b) provides an adaptive virtual assistant to coach users on procedures in real-time by observing the work in progress as it unfolds.
