Q-PEAK INCORPORATED SBIR Phase II Award, September 2019

In the Base program of the Phase II SBIR, we will construct a breadboard fiber-to-fiber prototype Faraday Isolator based on the design and risk reduction performed in the Phase I program. We will also construct an Alpha unit at the full key performance parameters The Option I program will focus on further refinements to the design yielding a Beta and Gamma unit that will be used for thermal, lifetime, shock, and vibration testing. In addition, two fully functioning units will be delivered to the Navy. The Option II program will focus on manufacturing engineering and the Option III program will support the construction of an assembly line and low rate initial production.
