ProProfs was founded by Sameer Bhatia in 2010. It started out as a free quiz making website for educators , and quickly developed into a software provider for companies including DHL, Dell and Sony. As of April, 2013, ProProfs had more than 1 million registered users. As of May 2019, the company had more than 7 million website visitors per month with global Alexa Rating of 4122 (2142 in the USA).
In June 2015, ProProfs acquired HelpIQ, a Knowledge Base software product for developing an online help center, knowledge base, user manuals and other documentation.
The company’s software products line includes: quizzes and surveys, online training course creation tools and knowledge base software. ProProfs also provides LMS Software that supports reporting features. The company’s tools are used for business, corporate training, e-learning and other industries.
