PredaSAR Corp

PredaSAR Corp is a developer of an imaging technology designed to capture earth imagery and create 2D and 3D reconstructions of land and sea objects. The company's technology provides round-the-clock weather coverage of the world's population, critical areas of commerce and specific areas of interest both terrestrial and maritime. PredaSAR was founded in 2019 and operates as a subsidiary of Terran Orbital Corporation.

Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is an advanced form of radar used to create 2-D images or 3-D reconstructions of objects. SAR provides high-resolution images, irrespective of time of day or weather conditions. PredaSAR Corp have been able to decrease the size, weight, power consumption and cost of SAR systems. While the capabilities of SAR have increased so that data can be sent to the ground in virtual real time to support commercial and military applications.

In 2020, PredaSAR announced the launch of the first 48 commercial SAR satellites. The satellites launched on a SpaceX Falcon 9 launch vehicle with Tyvak Nano-Satellite Systems as a launch integration provider. As per their agreement, PredaSAR, Tyvak, and SpaceX worked together to optimize the deployment plan of PredaSAR's SAR constellation.
