Pete Townshend

Pete Townshend is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, composer, and screenwriter, born Peter Dennis Blandford Townshend on May 19, 1945, in London. He is a citizen of the United Kingdom and of English nationality .

Townshend attended Acton High School. His father, Cliff Townshend, was also a musician. Pete Townshend is known for his work in rock music, art rock, and hard rock genres . Some of his notable works include songs like "My Generation," "Won't Get Fooled Again," and "Pinball Wizard" . Pete Townshend has received a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album.

In addition to his accomplishments in the music industry, Townshend is the owner of Eel Pie Studios.
