Paul Langevin (1872-1946) was a French physicist, chemist, and professor, best known for his work in the field of magnetism and for his doctoral students Louis de Broglie and Irène Joliot-Curie. Born and raised in Paris, Langevin studied in the prestigious University of Cambridge.
