Abstract

The Navy requests an innovative and expandable data transportation scheme for the AN/UYQ-100 Undersea Warfare Decision Support System (USW-DSS) that translates bi-directional data exchanges between disparate and diverse data sources into a common language. We propose the use of the Universal Gateway (UGW), a product already in-use with the Navy, to provide data translation, data mediation and data filtering. The UGW will be integrated with key USW-DSS data models, formats and protocols to enable complex data exchanges per the needs of the program.
