Norman Rockwell (February 3, 1894 - November 8, 1978) was an important American painter and illustrator in the early 20th century, whose works spanned commercial propaganda and American culture. Most of his life's paintings were published by the Saturday Evening Post, with the most well-known series appearing in the 1940s and 1950s. Such as "Four Freedoms" and "The Woman Riveter".
