Nikolai Ivanovich Kuznetsov was a Soviet partisan (military) operative and Esperantist, born on July 27, 1911 in the Russian Empire. He later became a citizen of the Soviet Union. Kuznetsov was known for his work as an intelligence officer responsible for the kidnappings and assassinations of several high-ranking Nazis. He received multiple awards for his efforts, including the Order of Lenin and the title of Hero of the Soviet Union. Nikolai Kuznetsov died on March 9, 1944, in Boratyn, Lviv Oblast.
