Biography

Nikita Vysotsky was born August 8, 1964 in Moscow. Son of Vladimir Vysotsky and Lyudmila Abramova, younger brother of Arkady Vysotsky. His parents separated in 1968 and formalized their divorce in 1970. After graduating from School No. 172 in Tushino, he worked for a year in a factory. In 1986 he graduated from the Moscow Art Theatre School (Andrei Myagkov's course).

Served in the Army since 1986, the last six months in the Theater of the Soviet Army.

In 1986-1988 played at the Sovremennik-2 Theatre.

Then organized his own theater, which was called the Moscow Little Theater.

Since 1996 - director of the State Cultural Center-Museum of V. S. Vysotsky. Vysotsky (GKTsM).

Since 1997 he was a founder and executive director of the Vladimir Vysotsky Charity Foundation.

On October 18, 2011 he received the Tsarskoye Selo Art Prize "for establishing the Vladimir Vysotsky Center and preserving the creative legacy of the poet.

For the 2011 film about his father, "Vysotsky. Thank You for Living," he wrote the screenplay.

Since September 2012 has been teaching at the department of directing and acting at the Moscow State Institute of Culture. He is a director and teacher at Nikolai Skorik's workshop, and a professor at the Moscow State Institute of Culture's Department of Directing and Acting.

On July 26, 2013, Nikita Vysotsky filed a lawsuit to protect his honor and dignity over the publication of the book "Vladimir Vysotsky - Super Agent of the KGB".

Personal life

Married. There are three sons - Daniel, Semyon and Viktor (born 2019), daughter Nina (born 2013).
