Biography
Nikita Bogoslovsky was born on May 9 (22), 1913 in St. Petersburg into a noble family.
In 1920-1929 he studied at the unified labor school of Leningrad. According to his recollections, during these years the main musical education was received, which meant more than all subsequent conservatory education. This happened during Sunday classes that lasted almost two years with the composer A. K. Glazunov (1927-1928)
He wrote his very first composition at the age of eight. School years are marked by the first known compositions. This is the waltz "Dita", composed and presented by E. L. Utyosova on her sixth birthday. By his fifteenth birthday, he wrote the operetta The Night Before Christmas. The premiere took place at the Leningrad Theater of Musical Comedy, but the author was not allowed to go there because of his childhood.
Even in his student years, he entered the circle of writers and directors associated with the theater, stage and cinema. He composed music for the performances of the Leningrad Theater of Small Forms (“Ear from a Rooster”, “Spring on the Strelka” (1933-1934), etc.)
Since 1937 he began to write music for films. He "woke up famous" after his first film - "Treasure Island", where Jenny's song sounded to the verses of V.I. Lebedev-Kumach:
I accompanied you to a feat, a thunderstorm rumbled over the country. I followed you but held back the tears and dry eyes... ... if a friend was injured, a friend will be able to enemies to avenge him. If a friend is injured, a friend will bandage his hot wounds.
