British film director and writer
Neil Marshall (born May 25, 1970) is a British screenwriter, film director, producer, editor, and executive producer. Marshall was born in Newcastle upon Tyne and educated at Northumbria University. He is a citizen of the United Kingdom and currently resides in Los Angeles. Marshall is known for his contributions to the cinema industry, working on films and TV series such as Dog Soldiers (2002), The Descent, and The Reckoning (2020).
Marshall has directed episodes of popular TV series like Game of Thrones, Black Sails, Hannibal, Timeless, Westworld, and Lost in Space. As an author, he has written scripts for Dog Soldiers, Killing Time, The Descent, Doomsday, Centurion, Tales of Halloween, and The Reckoning.
