Narrative Science

Narrative Science creates software that writes stories from data, to drive understanding and results. Powered by artificial intelligence, the technology automatically turns data into reports.The company was founded in 2010 by Stuart Frankel, Kris Hammond, and Larry Brinbaum, with its beginnings in automation of sports stories. They continued to adapt and develop new technologies as the need arose, such as their authoring platform, Quill, which augments and automates enterprise reporting. They also developed Lexio, an AI driven data platform that presents data in a simple, readable, story format. The company currently has forty-five patents issued and forty-five pending. Stuart Frankel is currently the CEO of Narrative Science, while other founders act as the company's scientific advisors.

On November 15, 2021 Narrative Science was acquired by Tableau team within the Salesforce company. Tableau is an analytics platform that was acquired by the Salesforce company in 2019.
