NVIDIA Inception is an accelerator program that was developed by NVIDIA, a supplier of artificial intelligence (AI) hardware and software. The program provides guidance and aid to start-ups so they can build their products and grow faster. The venture capital portion of the NVIDIA Inception program aims to help venture capital firms expand and support their current portfolios of AI-focused companies.
The NVIDIA Inception program is intended for start-ups that are focused on developing solutions for AI, deep learning, data science, high performance computing (HPC), networking, graphics, augmented reality/virtual reality (AR/VR), and gaming. It is a free program, and start-ups that are accepted into the program gain access to engineering guidance, technical training and discounts, possible customer introductions and co-marketing, and opportunities for networking with the venture capital community. More than 15,000 AI-related start-ups are involved in the program.
Venture Capital (VC) Alliance is the portion of the NVIDIA Inception program that has been developed for investors who want to strengthen their portfolios with start-ups in AI-related industries. It was formed in April 2021, and it connects the start-ups that are involved in its programs with interested VC firms. There are several benefits for VC firms to being part of this program, such as extending support systems to the VC firm's portfolio companies, including go-to-market support and field marketing. Other benefits could include invitations to closed-door events so participants can network within the industry.
