In contrast to the limitations and tradeoffs of current ESA technology, Novaa has developed both 1) extremely low-profile UWB antennas, capable of operating across multiple bands, and 2) a new beamforming architecture based on ultra-low loss phase shifting, capable of realizing 10–100x reductions in size, weight, power, and cost (SWaP-C) over conventional TRMs. In this effort, we propose to combine these capabilities and optimize for use with proliferated LEO constellations, as well as address the unique challenges of UUV integration, in order to realize an unprecedented multi-band, multi-constellation ESA terminal.
