Mohamed ElBaradei (born June 17, 1942) is an Egyptian politician, diplomat, jurist, and human rights activist. He was born in Cairo, Egypt, and holds Egyptian citizenship. ElBaradei was educated at Cairo University and later at New York University School of Law.

He is the founder of the National Association for Change. ElBaradei received the 2005 Nobel Peace Prize and the Francysk Skaryna Medal.
