Mikhail Arkadyevich Svetlov

Mikhail Arkadyevich Svetlov, born Mikhail Scheinkman, was a Russian poet, playwright, screenwriter, writer, lyricist, and translator. He was born on June 4, 1903, in Dnipro, which was then part of the Russian Empire. He later became a citizen of the Soviet Union.

Svetlov was educated at Moscow State University. Throughout his life, he primarily focused on writing poetry. Svetlov passed away on September 28, 1964, in Moscow. In recognition of his contributions to literature, he was awarded the Lenin Prize.
