"Marko" is a Belarusian leather and shoe factory, founded in September 1991 in Vitebsk. As of 2015 there were 4 branches in Vitebsk, a network of 48 own stores in 24 cities of Belarus, foreign offices and stores in Kazakhstan, Latvia and Russia. In 2014, production of shoes exceeded 4 million pairs, more than half of which were sold abroad.

In September 1991, Nikolai Martynov, a former specialist in the commercial department of the Belwest shoe company, along with three other members founded the trading and purchasing company LM + MK. Later the company name was changed to the modern name, which comes from the name of the owner Martynov and the word company. In 1993 a line of men's shoes made of leather on a polyurethane sole was launched. The first pair of shoes released were men's model 4351 boots, production of which continued in 2011. November 4, 1995 teenagers and children shoes production was launched. April 1996 marked the release of the millionth pair of shoes with the trademark "Marco". Opening of own stores began. In September the workers moved to the recently built main factory building. At the beginning of 1997 the adhesive method of fastening was mastered, thus allowing to start the women's footwear production. In February, a VitMa subsidiary was opened and began producing purses, belts and handbags. In November 1999 joint Belarusian-German enterprise "Vikop-Fagus" producing shoe pads was founded. In April 2003 the 10 millionth pair of shoes was produced. In July the subsidiary "San Marko" was opened which was later headed by the son of the owner Pavel Martynov. Production of fur winter boots was started. In March 2005 the production of sports and walking shoes began. In June 2008, "Marko" bought the shares of JSC "Krasny Octyabr". In October of the same year the 20-millionth pair of shoes was produced.

The high quality of "Marco" shoes for many years in a row is appreciated by the jury of national and international competitions. The Holding has repeatedly won.
