Macnica Ventures

Macnica, Inc. established their corporate venture capital arm Macnica Ventures in 2015. Macnica Ventures seeks strategic investments in ventures with business models and promising technologies. Macnica collaborates with and supports these ventures to help them grow. Macnica's office in San Jose will search for investment opportunities and coordinate with its headquarters while the investment will be managed through its captive fund called Macnica Investment Partners.

Macnica Ventures' investment areas range from ICT markets to emerging technologies. They expect the strategic investments to aid in expanding their current business areas as well as enhancing their ability to create new businesses.

Macnica's investment activities started in 1996 through investments in venture capital funds. By the early 2000s, their investment activities included direct investments into startups. Macnica Ventures seeks to integrate their capabilities in the business of distribution and investments.
