Leonard Nimoy (born 26 March 1931, died 27 February 2015) was an American actor, film director, writer, poet, musician, photographer, screenwriter, and film producer. He was born in Boston and was a citizen of the United States. Nimoy passed away in Bel Air, Los Angeles.
Throughout his academic career, Nimoy attended multiple institutions including The English High School, Antioch College, Antioch University, Boston University, and Boston College. He was the father of Adam Nimoy.
Leonard Nimoy directed films such as Star Trek III: The Search for Spock and Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. He also worked in the Western genre.
