John Harvey Kellogg (1852-1943) was a physician, nutritionist, and businessperson from the United States. He was born in Tyrone Township, Livingston County, Michigan and was educated at Eastern Michigan University, New York University, and New York University School of Medicine. His mother was Ann Stanley.
Kellogg was the founder of Frosted Flakes, a popular breakfast cereal. In recognition of his contribution to breakfast cereals, Kellogg was inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame in 2006. He passed away in Battle Creek, Michigan.
