National Competition While attending Punahou School, Mau was a 14-time NISCA/Speedo All-American made up of two team and 12 individual honors. She won 13 Hawaii State Championships in a multitude of events including the butterfly, 200 IM and 500 freestyle. She was named her high school’s Female Athlete of the Year on three separate occasions, and before even graduating the school inducted Mau to the Hawaii High School Athletic Association Hall of Honor. In 2014 she broke the National Independent High School Record in the 100 butterfly.0
2014-2015 As a freshman Mau picked up a sixth-place finish in the 100 butterfly at the Pac 12 Championships. She followed that up by finishing in another sixth place in the 100 backstroke, and touched third in the 200 butterfly.0
