In 1997, the group represented the Kirovsky district of Kazan at the regional festival "Young Star" (now "Constellation"). At the final concert with the song “Burning rear”, the team takes first place. After some time, Irina Kromm (back vocals) joins the group, who brings elements of folk music to the group's compositions.
In 1999, the House of Dolls takes part in the Equinox rock festival.
In 2000, the band started recording their first album at the Volga-production recording studio.
