Hedgefog Research Inc. (HFR) is proposing to develop a novel Multi-line Laser for Quantum Sensing (MuLQS) system - a robust, stable multi-wavelength laser source for use in quantum sensing applications such as atomic clocks, gravitational and inertial sensors, and other high-precision applications for the Navy. The new system will dramatically reduce acquisition and operational cost of the devices and allow mobile deployment with drastic reductions in SWaP and cost. In Phase I, HFR will design and implement a breadboard Phase I prototype with all the major system components. Phase II will focus on advancing the TRL of the MuLQS technology. We will fabricate the fully integrated, stand-alone Phase II prototype, whose performance as a multi-wavelength laser source will be tested in laboratory and representative environments.
