Daughter of actress Billie Brockwell (1875-1949).

First appeared on stage at age three. She made her screen debut in 1913.

Was one of the busiest actresses at Fox Studios, later switching easily to sound films.

She was married to director Robert Broadwell.

On June 27, 1929, with her boyfriend, advertising agent Thomas Stanley Brennan, she was involved in a car accident; their car crashed off a 75-foot embankment in Calabasas.

She died of her serious injuries.
