Gardiner Greene Hubbard (1822-1897) was a United States citizen born in Boston and passed away in Washington, D.C.. He was a lawyer by profession and received his education from Dartmouth College. Hubbard was a founder of the Bell Telephone Company, which eventually became one of the world's leading telecommunications companies. As an individual, Gardiner Greene Hubbard contributed greatly to the development of the telecommunications industry.
