GAIA Everworld has distributed ledger tech (DLT)-based games that allow players to have complete ownership of their in-game assets and encourages them to utilize the play-to-earn feature. The platform is a multi-region fantasy world with mythical creatures referred to as Gaia. These creatures are actually NFTs that can be bought in the platform marketplace and are meant to be utilized in the game for combat and protection against the holder's enemies. The game has two modes: Battle Mode and Legion Mode. Battle Mode is a player-versus-player arena battle game and Legion Mode is a real-time strategy game.

GAIA Everworld has two tokens: $GAIA and $GG. The aforementioned token is its governance and marketplace currency to be used to give voting rights to holders within the platform. $GG is the Gaia Gold token and is earned through playing games and winning battles. It can be used to upgrade the player's avatar and skills.
