Flunks

Flunks is one of the non-fungible token (NFT) projects developed on the Flow blockchain and operates through Dapper Wallet. The project consists of 9,999 algorithmically generated portraits featuring random attributes. Flunks takes place in the metaverse and is staged as educational campuses, both high school and college. These campuses are meant to be interactive digital spaces.

Users of Flunks get their initial mint, which is their Flunk. The Flunk will belong to one of the school's cliques: Jocks, Geeks, Preps, or Freaks. The clique to which the Flunk belongs will impact its personality and style, which is portrayed in its generated portrait. Hall Passes, which allow users to obtain Flunks, became available in March 2022. In April 2022, a secondary marketplace was made available on Gaia, and users could buy and sell their Flunks. When obtaining a Flunk, users can set filters to any visual preferences they may want for their Flunk, such as having a certain color background, wearing specific clothing, or belonging to a specific clique.

Users with Flunks can aid in creating the "campus" by using their Flunks to develop different areas such as school clubs, the school store, and a food drive.Users can deploy their Flunk to submit proposals and vote on decisions to build the aforementioned areas of the campuses.
