Duke-NUS partnered with Arcturus Therapeutics to develop a vaccine for COVID-19. The pair used STARR technology, which combines self-replicating RNA with LUNAR, a nanoparticle non-viral delivery system. The role of Duke-NUS was to isolate and cultivate the virus so that developments for a vaccine could commence.
