Douglas MacArthur (born January 26, 1880 in Little Rock, Arkansas, and died April 5, 1964 in Washington, D.C.) was an American officer in the armed forces, engineer, and politician. He held citizenship in the United States, and his nationality was also American.
MacArthur was educated at several institutions, including the United States Army Command and General Staff College, Milwaukee High School of the Arts, and the United States Military Academy. He was the son of Arthur MacArthur Jr. and had a child named Arthur MacArthur IV.
Douglas MacArthur was also the founder of Chubu Electric Power.
