The rise of GameFi and NFTs move us close to realizing the promise of the metaverse. Despite the enthusiastic adoption of these technologies, the current marketplace still lacks a fully-formed metaverse game ecosystem to connect and support a variety of blockchain-based games across multiple chains. A metaverse game ecosystem is essential to make GameFi and NFTs reach their full potential. This is where DeHorizon comes.

Our vision

DeHorizon aims to become the next generation of metaverse game ecosystems, enabling players to create, socialize, enjoy blockchain-based games with their friends. The long-term vision of DeHorizon metaverse is to create a virtual carnival open to all metaverse inhabitants across multiple chains, that lets players enjoy a second life.

Our DAO Governance Model

The real metaverse should be built in line with Web 3.0 principles, enabling players to own digital assets and control their blockchain-based data. In conformity with Web 3.0 principles, DeHorizon metaverse will be governed by our DAO (decentralized autonomous organization). The rules and governance of the DAO are coded into smart contracts on the blockchain and cannot be modified unless the DAO community votes to make changes. A community-driven metaverse is what we are building.

Introduction

The primary features of a real metaverse are interoperability, openness, and sustainable community autonomy. Moreover, we hope the DeHorizon metaverse is the place each player can build their second life. This means DeHorizon metaverse should provide a premium user experience, design attractive GameFi gameplay, establish world-famous IP collaborations and much more. Having such ambitious goals means that DeHorizon metaverse is an enormous undertaking. Thus, we begin with DeHorizon metaverse 1.0. Several DeHorizon games are already under development and will pave the way for the first version of DeHorizon metaverse, a place where players can play for fun and to earn.

In DeHorizon metaverse 1.0, players will meet with Numen and JuJus to participate in DeHorizon games. Currently, DeHorizon games include DeVerse, DeTournament, DeQuidditch, with many more under development.

Numen

Ranger, Rogue, Adventurer, Alchemist and Warrior are important hero NFTs known as Numen in DeHorizon metaverse. Each class has specific strengths depending on the situation.

JuJu

JuJus are the survivors of the destruction of Deternity. They are brought to Deternity for gestation and eventually grow into JuJus. JuJus have infinite potential, and upon reaching their maximum level, can even influence the entire DeHorizon metaverse. Players have the chance to breed them and witness their growth.

DeVerse

DeVerse is a team battle game. In DeVerse, each player needs a Numen and a point card to battle and earn. Each Numen represents a character in DeVerse and has 1 normal attack and 3 skills.

P2E:

DeTournament

DeTournament is a Battle Royale game. In DeTournament, each player can play alone or with friends, explore unknown treasures and much more. Off-court players can observe the game in God mode.

DeQuidditch

DeQuidditch is a fantasy sports game involving dragon-riding. The object of the game is to score more points than your opponents. Each goal is worth 5 points and catching the "Magic Ball" is worth 50 points. Each point is also worth an equal number of tokens (in-game currency). The game ends when the “Magic Ball” is captured, or the last one remains on the field. There's no penalty rule during the game. Dragons can fight each other and shoot each other down. Players in each game are limited. If players don't get the chance to play or don't own a dragon, they can place a bet on the players instead and win rewards after the game has ended.

DeMeta

Overview

NFTs play an indispensable role in the metaverse, representing unique digital assets and their ownership status. The creation of NFTs opens up new possibilities for the digital metaverse. However, the current metaverse lacks interoperability of NFTs. Moreover, unchangeable NFTs cannot empower players much in the metaverse. Thus, DeHorizon launched DeMeta Pass ID (DeMeta), disrupting JPG NFTs into interoperable, editable and evolvable NFTs.Through the invention of ERC-721 DeMeta, we also want to deliver digital property rights to the world’s game players and internet users.

Interoperable

DeHorizon wants to create a more diverse and smoother environment for players to socialize and enjoy their NFTs across multiple blockchains. Increasing the interoperability of NFTs infuses DeHorizon metaverse with multiverse value. Additionally, a boundless user experience lays the fundamental foundation for players to have fun in the DeHorizon metaverse. Interoperable NFTs can make the current NFT market more connected and dynamic.

Editable

The development of the NFT market requires editable characteristics to follow the law of change and diversity in the metaverse. The editable feature makes NFTs more alternative and flourish. Within DeMeta, players can autonomously switch their gear and in-game stats. Imagine if you could do many different OOTD (Outfit of the day) in DeHorizon metaverse.

Evolvable

The evolvable DeMeta is similar to your metaverse recorder. Whilst adventuring in DeHorizon metaverse, DeMeta can record your digital footprint and all of the information will be stored on-chain.
