Clive Davis is an American record producer, music executive, businessperson, and composer known for founding Arista Nashville and J Records. Born Clive Jay Davis on April 4, 1932, in Brooklyn, New York, Davis holds citizenship in the United States.
Davis' educational background includes attending Erasmus Hall High School, New York University College of Arts & Science, New York University, and Harvard Law School. With a career spanning various genres, including rhythm and blues, he has received numerous accolades such as the Grammy Trustees Award. Clive Davis is also the father of businessman Doug Davis.
