Chemtxt is an incubated startup in cheminformatics and computational chemistry. Cheminformatics is the storing, indexing, searching, retrieving and applying information related to chemical compounds. Cheminformatics involves searching for physical properties three-dimensional molecular and crystal structure, spectroscopic signatures, chemical reaction pathways molecular functional groups and docking sites. Using virtual screening of large libraries and virtual molecules, chemical and physical principles are used to identify and evaluate the best candidates for a particular property or chemical reactions. Chemtxt services include graph theory, industrial scale-up, cheminformatics, computational chemistry, complex liquids and green chemistry. The company uses data mining and machine learning.

Founder of Chemtxt, Ibrahim Mutlay is also the founder of Metaa Dynamics. Chemtxt is partnered with ChemAlive, a company whose goal is to allow the full and automatic calculation of accurate and reliable data molecular properties and synthetic reactions from basic 2D chemical syntax.
