Catherine Hardwicke, born on October 21, 1955 in Cameron, Texas, is a renowned architect, production designer, film director, and screenwriter. She holds a degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and is a citizen of the United States. As a person involved in the film industry, Hardwicke gained recognition for directing the Twilight Saga (film series) and specifically, the 2008 film Twilight.
