In 2011, he opened his first park in Fresno, California, and the second park a year later in North Carolina.

Over the next two years, Lawrence made a number of deals to acquire and expand existing parks, increasing the park count of CircusTrix to over 20 in 2014. He expanded the brand internationally, opening parks in Europe and Asia. Parks in South Korea, Hong Kong and Edinburgh opened between 2015 and 2016.Lawrence and CircusTrix acquired Sky Zone in 2018, following equity investment from Palladium Equity Partners for a fee estimated to be upwards of $200

million. CircusTrix owns and manages over 300 parks and was called Utah's second fastest-growing company in 2018 by Utah Business Magazine.

Extreme Sports

In 2016, Lawrence agreed to a deal with Kevin Bull, a former American Ninja Warrior contestant, wherein Bull agreed to represent CircusTrix as the company became more focused on extreme events and sports, as well as trampolining. This form of recreational exercise experience which Lawrence created was likened by Forbes to Tough Mudder and Spartan Race. He is also a supporter of the emerging sport Supertramps.
