During this phase II effort, Cardinal Engineering will build on prior work to further develop an innovative capability into a transition ready software application referred to as ShockIQ. The innovation provided by ShockIQ rests with the analysis of relevant data and consistent application of complex shock specifications via digital engineering and data analytics principles. Based on lessons learned during previous development, including user feedback from subject matter experts in both Government and industry, ShockIQ will include shock assessment capabilities of greater depth and breadth than those included previously. ShockIQ will assist shock design and qualification of equipment installed on Navy ships and submarines by automating the shock qualification process, which is performed manually today.
