Cabiedes & Partners is a seed and early-stage venture capital firm co-founded in August 2009 by Louis Martin Cabiedes and Jose Martin Cabiedes.
In 2011, the firm formally launched what it characterized as "the first angel fund in Spain," a €25 million investment vehicle earmarked for seed and early-stage investments in Spain. The firm saw an opportunity to invest in companies which may have successfully raised friends-and-family financing but needed additional capital to fund product development and business growth which could justify raising a Series A or later rounds.
Limited partners in the first fund include the Cabiedes family, Neotec Capital Riesgo, Europa Press Group, FESPyme fund, Itzarri EPSV, Bertlesmann Digital Media Investments, and Corpfin Capital.
