As Executive Vice President, Commercial for Cleveland-Cliffs, Mr. Bishop is responsible for leading the Company's sales organization for flat rolled and downstream steel cases.
Prior to his appointment to Executive Vice President, Commercial, Cleveland-Cliffs Inc , Mr. Bishop was Vice President, Steels Operations, with responsibilities for all flat rolled steelmaking facilities. He has held several other senior management positions since joining the Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. He served as General Manager for the Company's Mansfield, Middletown, and Dearborn Works before being named Director, Carbon Steel Operations in 2016, when he assumed responsibility for manufacturing planning. In 2019, he also assumed responsibility for information technology activities.
Mr. Bishop holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, and an MBA from The Ohio State University. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Association for Iron & Steel Technology, and has served as a United Way volunteer.
