Abstract

We propose to design and model a novel wideband HPM antenna for application in vehicle and vessel stopping applications. The compact antenna will be capable of operation at up to 10 MW of output power in the L and S bands. The antenna will feature specific frequency carve-outs to prevent radiation of power at frequencies that can interfere with other key military and civilian systems. The antenna is based on a multielement design to provide high gain and directivity. It will use novel electromagnetic structures to achieve the frequency carve-outs.
