Asteria Finance is a developer of an options-based infrastructure and ecosystem. The company's ecosystem works to help users build options-based infrastructure for decentralized finance and is composed of decentralized protocols based on options pricing, trading, hedging, and complex strategies. The company offers APIs and templates capable of becoming the foundation of structured option application developments. Asteria Finance also aims to help develop the future by building the "Goldman Sachs" of the Metaverse, with hybrid instruments including NFT renting, leveraged lending, and hedging.

The Asteria ecosystem is a complex interweb of strategies, standards, and layers working toward options-based decentralized finance (DeFi). At the protocol layer, three key components of Asteria are American/European option pricing, trading, and hedging, which are functionally the foundation of the Asteria product line.

At the template layer, Asteria offers more complex options-based structures like straddles, exotic options, barrier options, compound options, chooser options, Asian options, and lookback options. Option traders can use them to further their modeling on the market, while other DeFi apps like issuance protocols can call Asteria options APIs for underlying logics and save them resources on complicated options concept implementation.

At the application and incubation layer, Asteria is developing a new DeFi ecosystem focused on the principles of research of underlying financial options-based theories and technology, building novel, in-house, options-based products, and working with the most enterprising DeFi projects to create a diverse ecosystem.
