Andrey Nikolaevich Malakhov (born January 11, 1972, Apatity, Murmansk region) is a TV journalist, showman, producer, actor, editor-in-chief of StarHit magazine in 2007-2019, teacher of journalism courses at the Russian State University for the Humanities. Presenter of the programs of the TV channel "Russia-1". Prior to that, he worked for Channel One for 25 years: in the ITA RGTRK Ostankino (1992-1995), the Directorate of the Morning TV Channel OJSC (until 1998 - CJSC) ORT (1995-2001), host of various programs and special projects (2001-2017).
Biography
Born on January 11, 1972 in the city of Apatity (Murmansk region).
He studied in the same class with Evgeny Rudin (DJ Groove). He graduated from school with a silver medal, received a musical education (music school) in the violin class.
Graduated with honors from the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov in 1995. He studied on the same course with many well-known journalists: Ernest Mackevicius, Vladimir Chernyshev, Sergei Gaponov, Andrei Cherkasov, Alexander Khabarov and others.
In September 2017, he founded the TV Hit TV company, which produces television projects. He took the position of general producer of the television company, and headed the television company Alexander Novikova. Among the projects released by the TV company is the entertainment show “Watch to the end” on the Russia-1 channel, which premiered in January 2021
Family
Father Nikolai Dmitrievich Malakhov (1946 or 1947 - March 22, 2006), geophysicist (was sent to the city of Apatity to study the minerals of the Kola Peninsula), engineer, worked in a construction company in recent years, died of a serious illness heart at the age of 59. Mother Lyudmila Nikolaevna Malakhova (born 1941), was a teacher and head in a kindergarten.
Wife since 2011 - Natalia Shkuleva (born May 31, 1980), publisher of the Russian version of Elle magazine, daughter of journalist and publisher of newspapers and magazines Viktor Shkulev. The wedding took place at the Palace of Versailles in Paris[20]. Son Alexander (born November 16, 2017).
Distant relatives of Andrei Malakhov on the father's side live in Sudan, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan and Dagestan, and on the mother's side - in Russia, the USA, Mexico and Brazil

Criticism
On March 24, 2011, the program “Let them talk” touched upon the conflict between the administration of the boarding school for children with disabilities and volunteer organizations. After the release, human rights activists who spoke on the side of the children in the program sent an open letter to Konstantin Ernst with a protest against Andrey Malakhov. The presenter was accused of trying to create PR for himself and make more money on a children's problem. The letter was signed by a number of well-known teachers[87]. Quote from the letter
